Hi, I’m Bhupi
I’m a world traveler, entrepreneur, henna artist and mum of two adult boys. Yes, “boys”; they will always be my boys even though they are 19 and 20 years old.
Mandalas4You (and Henna4You) were born out of my love for art, art therapy, and helping others find joy, happiness, and hope even when it feels like their world is falling apart. Trust me when I say, “I’ve been there” and that drawing mandalas helped get me through those darkest days.
In the past, my own life was in turmoil as I navigated a marriage separation (divorce still pending) and the blasted menopause. Everything was turned upside down. I had lost the spiritual side of myself. I felt guilt, shame, anger, and sadness all while trying to keep moving forward in my personal and professional responsibilities. Throughout it all, creating the Mandalas4You courses and workshops was something that brought me peace and clarity (as mandalas tend to do). While my focus was on helping others, it was immensely healing to me as well.
I have been using my art to help others and unite communities worldwide for more than 30 years. My Indian heritage combined with my geographical roots in East Africa, London, England, and now Kitchener, Ontario, along with my extensive worldwide travels, have given me a unique perspective that I draw upon in my mandala and henna instruction.
I look forward to introducing you to this inclusive branch of art therapy and I hope you will find it as immensely valuable as I have.
The best part of my work is that I get to meet amazing people, so please reach out and introduce yourself if your quest for personal growth and development has brought you here!
