Let's Do It

We teach you how to use the Art of Mandalas to change your life!

Do you want more focus, clarity, passion, and something that is just for you?

YES PLEASE

Are you struggling with Mom guilt when it comes to making time for your self-love practice? Afraid others will think you’re being narcissistic for putting yourself first? Well, I’m here to tell you… f* that. You deserve to have and enjoy a daily self-love practice.

You’re welcome. Now that any doubt you had about starting a self-love practice is out of the way, where do you start?

It can be daunting to start a self-love practice, but I am here to tell you it doesn’t have to be hard. A self-love practice doesn’t need to be a full day at the spa, it doesn’t have to cost any money. Here are a few suggestions to incorporate a self-love practice into your day:

  1. Start your morning with a moment for yourself, grab a tea, coffee, or even just a hot water and lemon first thing in the morning.
  2. Find a meaningful affirmation and spend 5 min telling yourself something positive.
  3. Eat those healthy foods that fuel and satisfy you.
  4. Move your body in a way that makes you feel happy.
  5. Take a moment for mindfulness and gratitude. Not sure where to start Contact us to learn more about breathing, mindfulness, and creative flow in our mandala workshops.
  6. Say no, if it won’t bring you joy or happiness it's okay to say no.
  7. Spend time with your friends and family.
  8. Set boundaries and feel confident to stand up for yourself.
  9. Self love note to self FBStop comparing yourself to others, you are exactly where you should be.
  10. Get those creative juices flowing. Drawing, creating, coloring can be a positive experience, and if you are looking to learn how to create and color Mandalas, Contact us to learn more about the tools you need.
  11. Step outside of your comfort zone, take a risk on something, it will help you grow.
  12. Ask yourself what is one thing you can do to feel successful today, and make that a goal.
  13. Be realistic with your day and the expectations you set for yourself.
  14. Tell those around you how much they mean to you. Sharing your feelings and creating intimate relationships can help you feel connected
  15. Be compassionate to yourself and others. You are going to have days where things don’t go as planned, that is okay.
  16. Get offline, spend time away from your cellphone, computer, and television.
  17. Find out what your Love Language is, and learn how to best meet those needs.
  18. Show yourself respect, ask yourself if you would talk to your closest friends the way your inner dialogue talks to you. If you wouldn’t say it to someone you love, stop saying it to yourself.
  19. Learn how to accept a compliment, when someone says something nice about you learn to say thank you. Learn to compliment yourself too.
  20. Put yourself first.

This is in no way a comprehensive list. If you find something that brings you joy and helps you to fill your cup then start adding it to your daily self-love practice. Just like you, your self-love practice does not need to be perfect all the time, but you will benefit from the work you put into loving yourself!
